In early 2024, there are only a handful of hotels open, though more are opening every month. We stayed at Sanibel Island Beach Resort, 1231 Middle Gulf Drive. With all the post-Ian renovations, it felt like a brand-new hotel, with beautiful décor, a new well-designed bathroom and excellent amenities.
