Hi, first time visiting Croatia. Staying a couple of days in Dubrovknik and then 5 days in Korcula. Our transfer options are private car (Land Rover) arrange by the hotel in Korcula or the catamaran. Seems like it will take a couple of hours either way.

From Berlin we are taking a train to a few places (Prague/Vienna/Budapest) before arriving Zagreb (fm Budapest) on or about 4 August.

Day 1 - Fly from Amsterdam (doing our jet lag days there) to Dubrovnik arriving at noon, and drive to Cavtat. Spend the afternoon checking out the town and dinner. Day 2 - Early water taxi to Dubrovnik and walk the walls, have lunch, and explore a bit more in the town. Sleep in Cavtat.It was amazing. We had 38 people on the boat. I know nothing about Jet2 but if you are GOT fans I would choose something in the Dubrovnik area ( Lapad /Babin Kuk). There are filming locations scattered around Croatia ( Split area, Sibenik etc) but Dubrovnik (and surrounds) were the main sets.

Nova get consistently good ratings on this forum. I was impressed when I used them, but have also been happy with Oryx, Enterprise and Avis. Not too sure about your question about the ferry. Your problem is you lose too much of your limited time trying to travel by bus.
