Pepper, the section of the terminal that has reopened is the lower, ground floor. That was the former "B Gates" area. You always walked out to a bus that took you to your plane where you walked up the moveable steps. The jetways (ramps) were from the "A Gates" area on the second floor.

Re: SXM airport to marigot ferry terminal. I might do it a little differently than what you have planned. I would use St Louis Rental Car in lieu of Budget. Just Google them up and you can call or e-mail a reservation. Marius - who owns the company- will meet you at the airport and have your car waiting.
