Congratulations to Mountain Ops for working so hard getting so many trails open for opening day. Sugarloaf will leap into first place in the East with the most acreage and vertical open. Feb 5, 2024 · Saddleback has 600 when they're wide open, which they tend to be most of the season. Sugarloaf is currently just under 900. So that should provide some perspective. I ski both fairly regularly, and the flow of the mountain and the way they ski are different. In addition to less skiers, this benefits SB's lifelines.
