Tbh my advice is try to level up ur power and then wait for a different lost sector would be better because some lost sector is hard to farm (or finish,like the one today is very tough for me). I was going for the Necrotic Grip last night doing the Legend Lost Sector. My engram inventory was full. I got three different exotic engrams that went to the postmaster but when I decrypted them they were boots instead of arms. The Master Lost Sector yesterday was dropping boots which is why I got three engrams that became boots.
It's just that you can only get the new one from the new Lost Sectors. with latest update, the exotic from soloing the legendary/master LS will be on a knockout list, which means you will have higher chance to obtain new exotics, but it doesnt mean that you wont get the old ones, just RNG, go again.

After years of having to farm Lost Sectors for Exotics, Bungie is finally giving us a new method to get the Exotic armor we actually want: Exotic Armor focusing. Exotic armor focusing allows us to spend currencies in order to take Exotic engrams and focus them into specific Exotics (or Exotic families).Kill every single champion, and you are better off running, legendarys.
