Dodge durango intermittent starting problem.
I charged the battery up and re-run the load test. it went thought the headlamps on for 30 second and then turn off the headlamps and to start the engine three times in a row. The battery passed the load test. I then ran the alternator charging test - hold the warmed up engine above 2000 RPM with the lights on for 20 seconds.

If it's been done, look for the relay that is externally wired and it should be forward of the box, just aft of the right headlight on the frame. Edit: NVM Im thinking of fuel pump relay, sorry. Like.If the alternator is doing it's job, the car should have continued to run once the cables were removed. Hook the jumpers back up, let the jump vehicle idle for 5-7 minutes before you try to start it, Then, give it a whirl. IF it starts, leave the cables on, and observe. There might also be some kind of partial short drawing the battery down.2009 V6 SE randomly won't start. Left work last night and my car would not start. I left it overnight and got a ride in this morning and it cranked without a problem. I had the battery tested and was told it's good.If the engine cranks briskly, your battery may be ok. You need fuel, spark, and compression to run. So, you are missing a least one. Have you tried battery reset to see if taking all of the systems back to zero helps? Disconnect negative cable, depress brake pedal 30 seconds, then reconnect and see what happens.
I'd recommend tackling a problem at a time. The starter problem is probably the most important and probably deserves its own thread. Start with the suggestions I made about the connections. It sounds like an electrical problem. The link I provided earlier has some suggestions on how to solve the CEL problem. Good luck...

Feb 4, 2019 · Check the positive post at the fuse box and grounded at the “jump post”, 10v. Start the Durango and voltage at the battery goes to 16.7v, voltage at the fuse box is 10, 9, 8, 7, 6 dropping. Electronics go nuts, engine sputters and shuts off. You cant even shut off the engine.
