The funny thing, OP, was that when the Madden Content Creators were sharing MUT gameplay ahead of the game's release, there were menus on Solo Battles that suggested that the tiered points system was still going to be in effect. So, you never know, they might actually bring it back at some point.

If you're seeing "unranked" on your Solo Battles screen, that's something we're working on changing or removing in the future. For all Solo Battles rewards be sure to keep an eye on the Competitive Field Pass and the post-game rewards screen.
