The bike physically goes into neutral but will not start unless the stand is up and clutch in even when in nuetral. The bike is a 2001 VN800 Classic and the previous owner said the bike was idling and then while he was strapping his helmet on the bike died. He took it to the place where he bought it and they pulled the plugs, said they put a camera inside and they claim the motor sucked a valve. The bike has 22,000 mi. and looks very well taken care of.
