Kawasaki vulcan 1500 starting problems.

2008 VN1600 crank but no start. Hello all, new member here. Having a no start issue. Bike is a 2008 kawasaki vulcan nomad 1600. Currently has 66,447 miles on it. No modifications, all stock. Tank is half full of new gas. Battery is fully charged. I checked the voltage at the terminals when trying to start and it is reading 10.8v on my meter.Feb 21, 2011 · Checked battery first, fine. Checked fuse second, IG 10a fuse fine. Checked ignition third, no power to it. Pulled speedo housing off to look at wiring under tank, and power cam back on???? Tried starting bike and starter solenoid clicked for 1 second and again all power was lost. Couldn't get power back on after this. If you're sure the tire is damaged, I'd recommend getting a Shinko 777. The size is 89/90-21. You should be able to the get tire through any MC supply house (like DennisKirk.com) or any MC shop. It should only run you $70-$80 + mounting.
