On Saturday and Sunday a bunch of reports of large striped bass caught up by Barnegat Inlet by boat by live lining bunker. Connor, of FishHawk Charters, has three in the morning and three more in the afternoon. For the 68th Annual LBI Surf Fishing Classic (the Derby) we have had our first striped bass weigh-in and our first bluefish weigh-in!

Also in the surf, there are bluefish and more and more reports of fluke – and had our first report of kingfish! In the bay there are fluke, small blues and a sporadic weakfish.
