Its AoW is incredible slow to the points where it loses its usefulness. At that point it's basically a weapon with a colossal move set and nothing more. Being able to choose the Aow on the Greatsword already puts it ahead of Ghiza's but it also has a better moveset as well. Greatsword is a far more practical weapon.
