It seems like Demo or Solder are the only viable options. i am using solder as my second class. they aren't, there's more options. look at oathkeeper's modifiers, those make it synergize well with occultist mastery. like azunai said, inquisitor is another good match. You can tie rifles into Fire Strike, and also get a Soldier combat skill other than Cadence, in case you feel the urge to do melee. Or just pump up Soldier defensive skills and take Fire Strike and another Demo attack form.
