Next, consider the stock's “relative volume”, which is the daily trading volume relative to the average trading volume in the last 3 months.
Use the relative volume feature which is a scanner that tracks how much volume a stock has traded compared to its average. Use a relative volume of at least 1, but 1.5 would be even better. Also limit the volume that a stock must trade. For instance the stock has a minimum daily volume of 500,000 shares per day.
