The factory Ruger American 450 bushmaster magazine works for my Ruger American predator in 6.5cm (which uses the 308 multi caliber magazine). In saying that, the XL had the ability to mount the m-lok weights to and more accessories (like a m-lok front bag rider) to the forend. The HS3 does have a slightly longer forend (if memory serves me) so keep that in mind too. Pretty much every stock/chassis on the market will be light enough for standing shooting.
