I got it to start and run for about 3 seconds but then it turned itself off. I found a way to start it on this site by putting it to run mode and then starting it, that works okay but if I paid 27k for a car it needs to work as intended. I am having some issues with an extended crank on a brand new Durango. I had the dealer take a look, scan for codes, but nothing popped up. It is not all the time, but yesterday was the worst example. It cranked for about five seconds, pause very briefly, cranked for five seconds then started.

Problem: Check engine will kick on with the code for the fan relay p0480.. It can sit for 2 minutes and it will start over heating, I can reset the check engine light and let it sit and it wont over heat???

Hi guys, my 2011 durango express AWD won't start unless... ok, here is the issue, truck starts and then almost immediately stalls, but, after a few attemps (3/4) pushing the gas pedal it'll start and then runs just fine for the whole time, so she won't stall once is up. I wonder what the problem could be.No problem with the exhaust hitting the underbody. Tried remote start while under the car to no avail. Thought about the sub woofer and removed the 27 and 37 fuses which power the radio and sub woofer to no avail. No check engine light illuminated and no codes stored. Some of the behavior suggests a battery problem and I note you replaced the battery and the engine started and ran a bit but then died. I will say that before my TIPM was replaced I could pull the blower motor relay and it would start functioning again. After a while pulling the relay addressed the issue less and less.
