In 2007, they modified hull and interior. 2006 prior there is a separate stateroom for the master with a door, 2007 after the cabin is one big area with a curtain for the master bed. Love the boat, fast, stable and lots of room for family and friends. The shift portion of the trans does 2 things. In neutral a valve blocks flow of hydraulic pressure to the clutch pack. In Forward OR Reverse, the valve directs pressure to the clutch pack. The second thing the shift portion does is mechanically tighten down the reverse band. As for my personal favorite, I have Imron on the CLE gear case on my 1992 Mercury 2.5/200 outboard. I had the gear case professionally painted by a friend over 20 years ago. Other than a few light scratches and chips picked up from running almost 80 MPH over the years, it still looks damn near perfect.
