Yes it does require an adaptor (sold on their website). Just a note - I purchased the adaptor for the standard C7 shifter, but the MGW shaft is slightly larger in diameter, preventing the adaptor from sliding completely down on the shaft. Result is the **** is currently about 1/2 inch higher than it could be.

In researching various shifters/knobs I came across the MGW. Every review was positive so I decided to bite the bullet and order one. Although there is a hurst shifter that fits the C6, it doesn't include a lower box like the MGW. MGW in my opinion provides a more "complete" shifter upgrade.

Just had a look at my C6 **** on the b+m shifter and the screw is an M5 x 16mm button head with a built in washer. The screw size though could well be different for your mgw shifter. You don't have to buy the screw with the washer attached, just buy a screw and washer separately if you have to. You def need a …

I just thought I needed to do the anti-venom mod but it looks like I need to get back under there and tuck the boot down lower.
