Tag Lume's disappointing. Guys I wanted to post and ask a question about Tag lume's. I have 3 various Tags ranging in price from 800 to my Tag Link Chrono at about 2400 bucks. I have been very disappointed in all of these watches and the lume at night. I was recently on vacation and had no bedside clock in my condo at the beach.
Everything wears over time, you shouldn't expect great lume on an old wristwatch. I don't expect great lume from this old watch. This is the longest I have kept any watch and it is the one I wear when working on vehicles or doing other things to which I would not subject my newer and high end watches. If your watch had 40 tubes you could pay close to $500 to replace those tubes in today's dollars. I've owned a few watches with yellow lume and I think some tones are nicer than others (for example, the new Doxa anniversary models and Panerai models' yellow are nicer than the brown used by Omega). I like the use and don't understand why people don't see it as a design choice.
