I have since replaced the batteries with the Genesis dual battery system, and now my voltage reads between 12.8V and 13.2V. If I leave the Jeep for a week, it will initially start at 14.2V, but after around 15-20 mins of driving, it drops down to around 13.8V. If I use a battery tender, when I start the Jeep, it runs around 12.9V.On long road trips, I have had the voltage drop as low as 12.7. And once had 12.5V which the dealer said was OK and gave me a Jeep bulletin that stated normal voltage could be between 12.4 and 14.5 volts. I really dislike the smart charging system. I have a very frustrating issue with my JL. I got the jeep in 2019 with only 49 miles on it in March. The next winter 2020, when the temps went down to almost zero the battery died in a coffee kiosk line. The dealership put a new battery in it. Two weeks later it died again. So they put a new battery harness on it. 2021 winter battery died.
