The issue with Darkmoon Blade, and buffs in general, is that they are super easy to wait out, especially DMB due to Crest Shield. It still can be used but if it is the bulk of your damage, I wouldn't recommend it then.

It’s definitely good. I’m dual wielding it with another int scaling special Greatsword, it does solid damage and the beam attack is really useful against some enemies. The main downside is that the scaling falls off a cliff at an int of higher than 50, I’m at a full +10 on it at 50 int and going to 51 gets me a single point more damage ... It is a very good weapon. If you're trying to min/max or just use the best weapons in general then it is outshined by some others, but that shouldn't really matter if you like it. People may recommend Moonveil but if you prefer bigger weapons then the DMGS is a good option.Vigor, some mind and endurance, minimum strength and dex, pump intelligence.
