There are several ways to obtain the Memento backpack in Division 2. The most common way is to complete bounties and open-world activities. These activities have a chance to drop the backpack as a reward. The backpack can also be obtained by completing missions on challenging difficulty or higher.
Recently I have drifted away from using Memento in my DPS-style builds (Spotter, Scum Cannon, Obliterate, etc), and I now use a max'd-out Ceska backpack with Unstoppable Force. I just got my first Memento yesterday. Haven't gotten Kingbreaker yet. Got my memento on my first exotic cache from Countdown, after that I get it from caches quite frequently. Same with Kingbreaker but I also got a few kingbreaker by having AR as targeted loot. Do a few runs of CD and you should get one in 1~2 hours.It may also be worth mentioning that the War Memento isn't the only item used in this quest. I’ve tried the summit for hours with 5 directives and targeted loot included “backpack”, countdown numerous times also backpack as targeted loot and still nothing. Been at it for like a week and half. I’ve done dark zone again nothing! You guys got any advice?Run the summit. Set target loot to backpack. Keep farming.
