As long as the mountain you arrive at after the update drops is a "fresh" one, unexplored and unrendered, you should be able to find caves there. As long as the mountain you go to has a chance of having caves in the first place 😅. So u dont need a new world, you just need unexplored terrain. There is a world updater mod.
