Federal hst 9mm 147 vs 124.
The barrel is 3.1", which is not exactly optimal for defensive ammo purposes. I have heard a lot of people on various forums argue that 147 gr from any of the big 3 is the best bet since 147 gr loses the least % of velocity coming out of a short barrel, and that it will still expand while penetrating further than 124.
