I recently bought another Dan Wesson, the seller stated it was a 357 with a 4"HV barrel. When it got here it was a 22lr with a 4" HV barrel so I thought what the heck all my 22's are euro target guns. Why not a wheel gun. Any help on the age would be great serial #9151. Value varies w/ condition & location but around here a good one sells for around $400. The 10- 5 was made from 62 until it was replaced by the 10-7 in 1977. It should have a standard tapered barrel. The model 10-6 was the heavy barreled variant. As Injunbro said, the gun is from the 69-70 time period.

Ok, so I recently acquired a Smith and Wesson .38 special hand ejector and have spent the better part of 5 hours trying to date it. So, I'm going to be as specific as I can. Serial number 6688**. The Palmer bluing seems a little deeper and glossy than the Norwich guns I have. I have a personal fondness for the First Issue guns, especially the stainless series, but that is just me.
