Apex has had a pretty good history of providing new mfg barrels for the kits that it sells, so I wouldn't be too concerned about finding parts.
This stuff is important, as while you can make them all work together, it drives what parts you need to acquire to make them all work. For example, CETME C rifles do not use a handguard hanger, the pin just rests against the top of the barrel.
