On Ark Ascended I can't remove it buy just setting the tether distance to 100000 like on Ark se, even by changing it in game user settings. Anybody know how to remove it ? On PC the tether has a slider, the default is 1.0 which is about 200m which is awful, and the slider goes up to 3.0, which is about 700m which is usually alright but if the host dies everyone ends up being teleported to them which can really suck. You can also go higher by entering a number in the field beside the slider.
