I was having similar issues with the Shield Arms Mags. Had two Gen 2 then bought a Gen 3; same issue. I replaced the recoil spring with a tungsten, light spring from Glock Store and so far, no issues after 100 rounds. I’ll follow up after my second trip to the range. Like you, if the problem repeats, I’m going back to OEM.
