The rest of us were on the quest for 2.5 weeks waiting for the drops to get adjusted. It takes like max 5 runs to get a drop now, and you need 2 patterns to drop. And spoiler alert, the exotic glaives, which are the sole incentive for finishing that quest step, are terrible.

There's no RNG drop chance for the exotic glaive patterns from wellspring because it's not dropping at all! I'm pretty sure they stated that you'll be able to just buy the other exotic glaive patterns once you get your first, but I forget when it's supposed to happen.
