I went to drive it today and before I started it, it gave me a reduced engine power warning, I hooked up my engine code reader and it spit out P0090. I did some research and found out it has something to do with a fuel pressure regulator. After several trips to the dealer and this past week in the shop the problem is fixed. I had brought my truck to the dealer for a hard start (crank no fire) and an extended start issue. If you read the other threads (p0090) you will see what was going on. P2564 Code. Definition: Turbocharger boost control position sensor ciruit low voltage. Explantation: The ECM detected a low voltage from the Turbocharger Boost Control Position Sensor. Probable Cause: 1-Open or short ciruit condtion.This is also something that is not very common on these Duramax engines but it happens more often than an ECM issue.
