So I know we have a post about Cox outages on here every other day, but I wanted to say I just got an $11 bill credit. ... because each text acknowledges the outage. If this continues I may consider filing a complaint. I should have asked for credits going back as far as I had proof but since I held off on even asking I felt like August was enough.

The one legitimate excuse in your case would be if the outage was unforeseeable, Cox responded to it immediately, and Cox had no way to contact you to let you know what was going on. OTOH, failure to staff phone and chat support adequately would be negligence, and therefore your time trying to get such support would be compensated at the CEO rate. I got a live agent and she told me the same thing but said they can text me if the outage has been resolved. Got the text about 4 hours later and checked speeds again.
