I know this story, Treasures Unearthed, is long. If I were writing professionally, I'd tighten pacing, but I write for my own enjoyment (and find it therapeutic.) While I do make efforts to plot carefully, and have subplots that will all come together, as well as considerable editing -- I am just sharing what I like.
