The customer service is shotty and unprofessional. The appeals process is difficult, takes a long time, and will be denied regardless of supporting documents. In addition to full coverage on preventive care and 70% coverage on basic procedures, you’ll get 50% coverage on major procedures such as crowns, bridges, and dentures. This Delta Dental plan covers braces for children and adults up to the age of 25. The coverage rate is 50%, so you’ll be liable for the remaining other half.
