Tivo remote not working with new batteries.
Feb 10, 2008 · Yesterday, my Tivo (series 2) unit suddenly started 'ignoring' the remote. I changed the batteries in the remote, but still had the problem. The Tivo remote controls all the other components (TV and stereo) fine, so I know it is sending out a signal. And the remote does produce a red light at the tip when I push a button.
