Jul 27, 2014 · This is all theory as I try to troubleshoot my Prius problem. Your "theory" exhibits a gross ignorance of how modern cars work in general and in particular how the Prius works. There is no correlation to the 12 V battery. The 2 codes you pulled tell you all you need to know as to where/what the problem is.
