The gotcha was (and I knew this going in) the warranty only covers 6$ per gallon of refrigerant. Final cost to me for repair was over $300 (including 80$ service fee and refrigerant). Warranty only paid $100 to the tech. Tech also warned me that if the unit completely failed, the warranty company wouldn't pay to replace it because it was so old.
