Wouldn't start, the engine just turned over, tried to start a couple of times, coughed spluttered then nothing, just turned over..... Check all fuses associated as best I could, no blown fuses, not sure if the relays were all functioning. I disconnected the negative terminals on the battery, left to reset and reconnected, still nothing.

Check the positive post at the fuse box and grounded at the “jump post”, 10v. Start the Durango and voltage at the battery goes to 16.7v, voltage at the fuse box is 10, 9, 8, 7, 6 dropping. Check all your speaker connections because if there's a short in just one connection the radio will terminate the audio to all speakers. I had begun seeing this earlier in the summer, but only a couple times a week. Didn't matter if the car had been running recently or if it was the first start of the day... the engine would turn over fine, but would simply crank for 3 - 4 seconds before finally firing. No lights or DTCs.I charged the battery up and re-run the load test. it went thought the headlamps on for 30 second and then turn off the headlamps and to start the engine three times in a row. The battery passed the load test.
