Got out a while ago with my new 28" 1-9" Hart barrel to test my first loads with the 215 Berger Hybrid and H-1000. I tried 74.0, 75.0, and 76.0 grains of H-1000 with 0.015" Jump on a custon throat that had 0.050" of freeborn (to seat the 215 hybrid where the boat-tail/shank junction of the bullet met the shoulder/neck junction of the case).It's been really hard to find 300 Win Mag brass anywhere for nearly two years now. I have some Winchester brass but it's like finding a needle in a haystack the size of the United States. It was a fed premium load. The shot was high in shoulder at 300 yards. The bullet was just under the hide of the far side. The goal will be 3100fps in the 24" Ruger. Search turned up very little on the 165g BT in the 300 win mag. As much as I perfer 200 grain bullets in the 300 I,ve found the 180 protected point Partition works real good when loading shorter than 3.400. Nosler makes this bullet just for the 300 mag. The 180 leaves plenty of room for powder while the 200 AB eats up powder capacity real quick when seating below 3.400. Works nice with removable magizines ...

Hello, I am interested in loading the Nosler 168 gr Combined Technology in 300 win mag. I could not find load data on the Nosler website for this particular bullet. Is this not a recommended bullet for the 300 WM? After searching for the data in forums I found loads for the 30-06 in 168g flavor only. Please post data!
