Just get it in ASAP. HRC puts out milpers with dates on them. Your S1 should be helping you with the paperwork, as they typically push the packet to BDE for the board/interview portion of your packet. Then BDE S1 should submit it to HRC with the thumbs up after the board. FYSA, your BDE have a deadline earlier than what HRC puts out.

You have to pass the battalion board at a minimum to become an Army officer. Then you can join the Reserves, or advance to the USAREC (US Army Recruiting Command) board and join as an active duty officer. Hope that helps.
