For example, with my current Soul, the manual is rated for 27 MPG and the CVT at 30. I get around 34 in mixed driving without trying, which is way higher than the 31 highway rating. Not sure how much I trust the in-car indication, but it says I get like 40-50 MPG cruising around 70 or 75.
