2008 AC Compressor Problem. Trying to figure out what to do with my AC compressor (2008 Ody EX-L 110k miles). A few weeks ago I had a problem with the AC system which I posted about in the below linked thread. Ended up being a simple Hi/Low fan relay which fixed everything. Then a couple weeks later, a new problem developed.
1. AC Blowing No Air at All. Usually the culprit. Adding a 2 watt solar panel to offset battery drain (didn't help at night with no sun). There are two things you should do first: 1) make sure your AC compressor clutch relay is working. It is very common for these to fail. 2) Have your AC system professionally evacuated and recharged. One or both of these could be your issue. If not, you at least need to do these two things before you can continue troubleshooting.
